Nel sequel del film d’animazione e live action campione di incassi, I Puffi, il malvagio stregone Gargamella crea una coppia di dispettose creature simili ai puffi, i Monelli, con cui spera di catturare la loro magica “essenza blu”. Ma quando scopre che solo un vero puffo può dargli ciò che cerca e che solo un incantesimo segreto conosciuto da Puffetta può trasformare i Monelli in veri puffi, Gargamella rapisce Puffetta e la porta a Parigi, dove è conosciuto e ammirato da milioni di persone come lo stregone migliore del mondo. Toccherà a Grande Puffo, Tontolone, Brontolone e Vanitoso tornare nel nostro mondo, incontrare i loro amici Patrick e Grace Winslow e salvarla! E Puffetta, che si è sempre sentita diversa dagli altri puffi, instaurerà un legame speciale con i Monelli, Pestifera e Frullo, o si lascerà convincere dai Puffi che il loro amore per lei è Vero Blu? Tornano nel cast Neil Patrick Harris, Jayma Mays, Sofia Vegara, Hank Azaria nel ruolo di Gargamella mentre Katy Perry dà la voce a Puffetta nella versione originale. Brendan Gleeson si unisce al cast nei panni di Victor Winslow.
